DIGILAN INFOTECH · CUSTOMER INFORMATION
Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: 05 October 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions apply when you enquire about, order or use broadband, FTTH, installation, networking or related services offered by DigiLan Infotech. By placing an order or using a service, you agree to these terms and any plan-specific details shared with you. If you do not agree, please do not place or continue the order.
2. Eligibility and account details
You must be legally able to enter into a service agreement under applicable Indian law. A parent or legal guardian must place an order for a person who cannot contract independently.
You must provide accurate name, contact and installation-address details, and update them if they change. DigiLan Infotech may ask for reasonable information needed to verify an order or provide service.
3. Broadband connection and installation
A connection request is an enquiry and does not by itself confirm acceptance, coverage or an installation appointment. Installation depends on local network availability, technical feasibility, permissions, a suitable route and any required customer-side preparation.
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the installation location and obtain any permissions required for work on property you do not own. Any agreed scope, plan, equipment and charges should be confirmed before installation begins.
4. Service activation
Service begins when installation and required configuration are complete and DigiLan Infotech confirms that the connection is active. Plan validity and any billing period begin as stated in the plan or order confirmation. A device showing a signal alone is not confirmation that activation is complete.
5. Internet plans and validity
Plan speed, data terms, included features, price and validity are those communicated for the selected plan at the time the order is accepted. A plan may renew only if the renewal arrangement has been clearly communicated. Plan availability and technical characteristics can vary by location.
6. Billing and payment
Pay charges through the payment methods DigiLan Infotech makes available and follow the amount and due date shown in your order, bill or payment instructions. Keep your payment receipt or transaction reference. Do not share your password, card PIN or one-time password with anyone claiming to collect payment on behalf of DigiLan Infotech.
If you believe a bill or payment record is incorrect, contact DigiLan Infotech with the relevant bill or transaction reference so it can be reviewed.
7. Installation charges
Installation, cabling, configuration and other one-time charges, if any, will be shared before the relevant work is approved. These charges are separate from broadband plan charges. Work already completed or materials already supplied may not be reversible; any refund request is handled under the Refund Policy and applicable law.
8. Customer responsibilities
Use the service lawfully, maintain secure account credentials and take reasonable care of equipment at your premises. Do not tamper with network equipment or cabling, obstruct maintenance, or allow unauthorised use of your connection. Secure your Wi-Fi and devices; DigiLan Infotech cannot control activity on a device or network you manage.
9. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break applicable law, access or distribute content unlawfully, send spam or malicious traffic, attack or disrupt networks, interfere with another person’s service, or attempt unauthorised access to systems or data. Do not resell or share the connection commercially unless DigiLan Infotech has agreed to it in writing.
DigiLan Infotech may investigate credible reports of misuse and take proportionate steps required by law or to protect its network and customers.
10. Network limitations, speed and availability
Internet performance can vary with the plan, wired or Wi-Fi equipment, device capability, indoor layout, network load, routing, remote services and other factors outside DigiLan Infotech’s reasonable control. A plan speed is not a guarantee that every website or device will achieve that speed at all times.
Service is available only where the network can technically support it. Coverage may change as the network is expanded or maintained. No area-wide or uninterrupted availability is promised by these terms.
11. Router, ONT and other equipment
The order or service confirmation should identify equipment supplied by DigiLan Infotech and whether it is loaned, rented, sold or otherwise provided. You are responsible for equipment you own and for using supplied equipment according to instructions. Do not relocate, modify or return supplied equipment except as arranged with DigiLan Infotech.
12. Equipment damage or loss
Please promptly report loss, theft, damage or a fault affecting supplied equipment. You may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs where loss or damage results from misuse, negligence or an unauthorised modification, subject to applicable law and the equipment arrangement confirmed for your service. Normal wear and faults not caused by you should be reported for assessment.
13. Suspension and termination
DigiLan Infotech may restrict, suspend or terminate a service where permitted by law, including for non-payment after reasonable notice, a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a security or network risk, or a legal or regulatory direction. Where practical and lawful, we will explain the reason and any steps needed to restore service.
You remain responsible for charges properly due up to the effective suspension or termination date, subject to applicable law and the Refund Policy.
14. Customer-requested disconnection
To request disconnection, contact DigiLan Infotech using the contact details below and provide the account and service details needed to identify the connection. We will confirm the effective date and any outstanding charges or equipment return steps. Charges for service already supplied remain payable; eligible advance amounts are considered under the Refund Policy.
15. Temporary interruptions, maintenance and upgrades
Service may be temporarily interrupted by faults, power loss, safety issues, third-party network failures, emergency work or planned maintenance. DigiLan Infotech may maintain, repair or upgrade its network and will try to limit disruption where reasonably practical. Advance notice may not be possible for emergencies or events outside our control.
16. Privacy and customer information
DigiLan Infotech handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law. We use information needed to process enquiries, provide and support services, manage payments and meet legal obligations. Please review the Privacy Policy for further details.
17. Intellectual property
DigiLan Infotech and its licensors retain rights in their names, logos, website content and materials. You may use the website for personal, lawful purposes, but must not copy, alter, republish or commercially use protected material without permission, except where applicable law allows.
18. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, DigiLan Infotech is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of data, loss of business or disruption caused by factors outside its reasonable control, customer equipment, Wi-Fi conditions or third-party services. Any responsibility for direct loss is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
19. Force majeure
DigiLan Infotech is not responsible for delay or interruption caused by events it cannot reasonably control, including natural events, public emergencies, power or upstream network failures, government action, labour disruption or failures of third-party infrastructure. We will take reasonable steps to resume affected services when practical.
20. Changes to these Terms & Conditions
DigiLan Infotech may update these terms to reflect service, operational or legal changes. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page. A change will not remove rights that applicable law does not allow us to remove. If a change materially affects an active service, we will provide notice where required by law.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at [Add city/state], subject to applicable law and any mandatory consumer protections.
